My dancing

I do dancing, my dance team is called Wynnum/Manly. I have done 3 competitions. I liked the team one better. I loved my hair at my team competition. I go good at dancing.

School Camp!!

My brother Jonty is going on school camp. The date will be 29/10/08. It will be at the Sunshine Coast. They get to go to Australia Zoo - unfair!! I reckon it will be fun.

Today we had word wall. our words are our,too,kite,then and our word of the week is ceremony I like word wall.

S.E.A.T visit

We had a visit from people. They were in wheelchair. They hurt their spines by not being safe. Their names were Wayne and Wayne. They showed us a slideshow on how to be safe by putting your seatbelt on, your helmut on and check the depth of the water before you jump in. I learnt that you can't move your legs and sometimes hands if you hurt your spine. I'm going to make sure I am always safe.

My first day at SJV

On my first day at SJV, I met a friend named Jamie. She was new to the school as well. I remember that on my first day we had both Mrs Pledger and Mrs Bednall. I was a bit nervous to start with but now I am fine and just love 2BP. My favourite friends are Jamie, Gabby and Lara. We love to play mums and dads!

All About Me!!

Hi, my name is Piper and I am in 2BP. I love playing with my dolls at home and my double Baby Born doll's pram. It was a gift for Christmas. I also love playing my pink DS. My favourite game is High School Musical. My sport is physie which is a mixture of gym, aerobics and dancing. My friend Jamie has started physie in my class. I have a pet snake called Pontoer. She is a spotted children's python and eats mice!!! Yuk!

The Olympics

The Olympic Games is being held in Beijing from the 08/08/08. Did you know that the number 8 is a lucky number in China? Did you also know that every competing country has at least one of the colours from the Olympic rings on their national flag? I can't wait to watch the swimming, the sprints and gymnastics. I love the Olympics!
